So much going on lately, and so much I want to share. Where do I start? Should I talk about getting the Veronica Mars DVDs and Airmiles vouchers I ordered from my brother the other day and how I have been watching a lot of Veronica Mars obsessively and called Starwood Hotels to book the Kuala Lumpur and Nanjing stays in Sheraton hotels with the newly received vouchers, making this the last things we needed to do to book all travel and accommodation for the first 20 or so days?! Yeah, thats pretty cool and I'm glad we have more booked...we also recently booked our train ride from Butterworth (where we are stopping for 5 days to hit up Georgetown/Penang) to KL. I don't know how many people care so much to read about someone else's trip - so maybe I should just talk about how I essentially, entirely put together a group presentation for this past Monday myself because no one had their stuff ready...well, okay, not entirely myself but I put together the Keynote presentation and coordinated all the other stuff and maybe also that I haven't been sleeping very much lately probably due to this presentation and having too many papers to write within too short of a time period. That university stuff can get boring though, so maybe it is best to just say that I've been loving reading a lot of good blogs as usual, but this one is worth mentioning specifically: Green Lemonade, which is written by people who are trying to eat locally. This blog is partly about their journey towards this goal. I also have written down that I wanted to mention Bella Pinka blog, since it is such a beautiful design/decor blog from a woman that has her own boutique of romantic-style, shabby-chic sort of furniture and decor...her blog has beautiful pictures. I also really wanted to mention that it is only 33 days until we leave!! I am totally missing all my furniture and books which are in storage this year...especially our kitchen stuff: I am so glad we bought the food processor when it was on sale and can't wait to go home and use it more often (twice a day rather than once?!). I wanted to make a big list of things I miss with pictures but we cut back on our allowed bandwidth for the month since we'll be leaving soon, so things are going really slow on my end. I got My Sister's Keeper from the school library and have been enjoying it a lot, although I haven't been reading it as often as I'd like to have. I got 2 new DS games: Nancy Drew and the Zelda Hourglass or something or other. These two along with Pokemon Ranger are going to have to wait until we leave so i'll have lots to do on the 14 hour + 1 hour layover + 2 hour other flight to Bangkok via hong Kong and the many 8 to 24 hour train rides we will be enjoying in the 6 weeks we'll be away. Yeah, thats all from me.
